1. Traditional Laser Hair Removal
We use the newest hair removal laser from Lumenis, the Splendor X. The benefit of this laser is that it is less painful than previous lasers and also offers optimal hair removal no matter your skin type or time of year. Another benefit of our laser is that it uses a grid pattern and a rapid repetition rate that makes the process substantially faster and without any overlap. It will still take multiple treatments to achieve complete hair removal as hair grows at different rates. However, you will see some immediate results!
2. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Intense Pulsed Light is primarily used as one of our anti-aging treatments as it improves the texture and tone of the skin. IPL treatment is performed using a hand-held device that delivers highly concentrated light pulses. It is not considered a laser removal technique. However, it can be used for hair removal and is virtually painless. It may take more sessions than our Splendor X laser and may not be as effective. At your consultation, you can discuss which method is best for your needs. And, if you choose to go with the laser removal technique, remember that IPL is fantastic for treating skin issues such as sun damage, broken blood vessels and capillaries, and hyperpigmentation.
