What Is a Facial?
Out of facials, chemical peels, and dermaplaning, facials are probably the treatment that you are most familiar with, even if you have never had one. Not only are facials very relaxing, but they also give your skin a fresh, healthy glow. We offer a variety of medical facials.
Two of our popular facials are the Express Facial and the Anti-Aging Facial. Perhaps you are squeezing in a facial on your lunch break. If so, the Express Facial is perfect for you! It consists of an exfoliating, cleansing scrub followed by a hydrating mask. Our Anti-Aging Facial is a deep-cleansing facial with maximum pore extraction. That is followed by a stimulating, collagen-building facial massage and finished off with a TNS hydrating mask!
What Is a Chemical Peel?
Our chemical peel is Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) Chemical Peel. It removes the top layer of skin, so fresh, new skin can emerge giving you a healthy glow. The concentration of chemicals can be adjusted to allow for a shallow, medium, or deep chemical peel depending upon your aesthetic goals. Chemical peels help with skin texture, fine lines, acne, sun-damaged skin (hello, Florida!), pigmentation, discoloration, clogged pores, and dark spots.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning begins with a quick cleansing of the skin and pore extraction, followed by the skin scraping procedure. This removes the top layer of old skin and fine hair (often referred to as “peach fuzz”), leaving your skin extremely smooth. We finish off your dermaplaning session with a hydrating, collagen-stimulating mask. Collagen is a protein produced by our bodies that helps to keep our skin healthy and youthful-looking. However, as we age, our bodies produce less collagen. Facial services like dermaplaning that include a collagen-stimulating mask are great for fighting aging!
